About me

Hi all, I'm Sarah Leah Marks Owner & Founder of SLM FIT

My aim when I started in the health & wellness business was to help people achieve more than just an Aesthetic goal. You see beauty is skin deep (Cliché) But also the reason for wanting change comes from something deep within. I'm not one for masking over thinks, I want my clients to know 'why' they want to change, what it would mean to them and also discuss how to moderately make slight changes to doing so. Don't worry, if a full body composition / transformation is what you want then I will provide you with the training and nutrition guidance you need to get you there without cutting corners. 

My training history includes Hypertrophy/Muscle building gymnastics, yoga, strength, power & endurance. I have also previously run Nutrition groups educating on subjects including quality nutrition, Intolerance & digestive issues, Natural cooking methods, satiating foods & meal planning along with fat loss & muscle development.

 

I am a firm believer that knowledge is power which is why I take pride in constantly adding to my skill set & keeping my certifications up to date. Educating myself on everything health, nutrition, fitness and wellness related is so important especially with the constant battle of science vs quick fix fads, this helps me provide the best service to my clients.

I always promise that If I cant offer you the correct advice I am more than willing to refer you to someone who can or I will consult a reputable specialist for further advice. 

To the Novice - I know it can sometimes be daunting starting a new routine & potentially adopting a new way of life especially if you have any doubts or concerns, I want to tell you that its absolutely achievable & with the right training applied to meet your needs and with small manageable goals you can do it, whilst I can confidently provide you with the tools you need long term to maintain and/or develop yourself further.

To the Intermediate who is stuck with their current training or would like a PT to help them pursue their short term and long term health and fitness goals, give me a shout & lets talk about taking your training to the next level.
